ACCESSING THE NCAA WEB SITE

The NCAA has revamped/updated their web site however the old links do not forward to the new ones. If you want to update your bookmarks here is the path:
•Go to > www.ncaa.org
•From the menu on the left, select Spring Sports
•This will expose another menu. Click on Softball (W)
•On the page this takes you to go down to Rules and Committees. Under this is Softball Rules and Interpretations. Under that, click on Rules and Officiating Web Page
•On the page you arrive at, go down to Umpiring. Under that, click on Umpiring Information

The NCAA has established a policy whereby an active official, experienced with multiple divisions of softball, is asked to be part of the rules-change process by attending the annual rules meeting and giving input from an official's view for proposed rules changes. Ed Whipple of Florida has accepted the Rules Committee’s invitation to serve in this non-voting role for 2007 & 2008.
