The camp will begin with a meeting of all umpires and instructors at 7:00 PM Friday evening. Umpires will work the Spring Klein Girls Softball League COLLEGE CLASSIC, in Spring Klein (Houston),TX. Umpires must attend the Friday night meeting and be available to work games on both Saturday and Sunday of the tournament. The last game is scheduled at approximately 3:00 PM Sunday. Umpires will be given feedback from instructors immediately following each game. Each umpire will have an Official NCAA Evaluation sent to the Softball Umpire Improvement Program’s (SUIP) Staff by their instructors. Hotel rooms will be provided for all umpires (no families or single rooms). Umpires will be receiving a Polo Shirt, a box lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and drinks and snacks throughout the tournament. All games will be umpired using NCAA 3 Umpire Mechanics. There will be no game fees. Hotel arrangements will be made by the Camp Director, and all students must check in on Friday evening.

An exposure opportunity for umpires with goals of expanding or enhancing their collegiate schedule. |

A setting for umpires seeking an instructional atmosphere that supports the NCAA Softball Umpire Improvement Program. |

3-Umpire emphasis focusing on philosophy and in-depth concepts and coverage. |

Post game evaluation - umpire analysis and critique. |

Friday night classroom session will start at 5:00 pm |

Games will start early Saturday and Sunday mornings |
| • |
Umpires will work 3-4 camp games on Saturday or Sunday and work tournament games on the opposite day

Umpires will be paid $15.00 per game for 3-umpire camp games and $30.00 per game for 2 umpire tournament games (Recoup your camp fees!)
